Waterford Green: An East Cobb Classic

Sold 01/07/2019 Two days on market!

I am excited about my newest listing in Waterford Green. Research shows that many of today’s buyers are very busy and want to purchase a home that is renovated and reflects today’s  trends.  With this in mind, the sellers decided to totally renovate their home before putting it on the market.  This home has the both of best worlds…being in an established neighborhood while having the look and feel of a newer home.

The entire home, both inside and out, has been painted-including the garage floors! The paint colors and carpeting are neutral and accentuate the beautiful light throughout the home.

We know that buyers still love a white kitchen, especially in the South. This kitchen sports white cabinets and  white granite countertops with a gorgeous tile backsplash. The stainless steel appliances look sleek and modern. The 5 burner gas cooktop and double convection ovens are brand new.  The kitchen is open to the family room and to a beautiful light filled room that can serve as casual dining area/keeping room.

Sometimes in a renovation,  sellers stop short of taking care of the little things like fixtures and doorknobs.  Not here. New light fixtures, ceiling fans, knobs and hardware are used throughout, adding to the overall esthetic of the home.

The sellers reworked the entire terrace level and built out a large spacious bathroom with gorgeous tile floors, bedroom, and plenty of finished storage for the game room.  They also left a large unfinished space that includes lots of shelving for all of the “stuff” homeowners need to keep somewhere!

WHY WATERFORD GREEN?

Waterford Green subdivision in the heart of East Cobb County borders the Chattahoochee National Forest and the Chattahoochee River. This classic swim/tennis community is a favorite for homeowners, due to it’s location, amenities and beautiful homes.

Why Waterford Green? Where do I start! The obvious is location, excellent schools and beautiful homes. But as you dig deeper and speak with longtime homeowners about their neighborhood, you find a deep sense of satisfaction about being a part of something special. Homeowners care deeply each about other, their schools and being involved in the community. The people of Waterford Green make the subdivision, and the entire East Cobb community, a wonderful place to call home.

NATURE

Our neighbors in Atlanta may have the Beltline, but we have access  to multi-use paths and sidewalks right outside Waterford Green’s entrances that connect residents to the Parkaire Shopping Center and the new River Boardwalk. For those who enjoy biking, hiking, walking, kayaking and communing with nature, this subdivision is in a perfect location to enjoy outdoor activities throughout the year.

One of the most exciting developments in 2018 and 2019 is the completion of the Riverwalk Phase 5 project, which extends the River Boardwalk all the way to the Chattahoochee River National Recreation area at Gold Branch. This means Waterford Green families can take a leisurely bike ride or long walks to the Chattachochee Nature Center and connect with other biking trails in Roswell and Fulton County with safety dedicated bike lanes and paths.

Waterford Green is within walking distance of Gold Branch Trail and Hyde Farm, a community garden with over 50 plots tended by residents who live near the park.

SCHOOLS

Mt. Bethel Elementary, Dickerson Middle School and Walton High School continue to be recognized as top schools in Georgia and in the nation. Waterford Green parents have long been supportive of Cobb County Schools and their many extracurricular programs, including arts and sports.
