How Are You Spending Your Fall Weekends?

I just love it when fall rolls around, but honestly, it has been so hot lately that I’ve missed some of metro Atlanta’s fun fall events. Now that the weather is finally feeling a little more seasonable, I’m gearing up to see what’s happening around town and which events we can fit into our schedule. We only have a few fall weekends left to enjoy fall festivals before the busyness of the holiday season is upon us! The variety of unique things to do is mind-blowing if you take the time to sift through all that Atlanta has to offer.

Whether you are interested in the Atlanta Chili Cook Off in Brookhaven, or Owl-O-Ween, Atlanta’s LARGEST Hot Air Balloon Festival and costume party at Kennesaw State University, there is something for everyone.

Perhaps you’d rather slip away to North Georgia to attend the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival in Hiawassee, or take a quick trip up to Ellijay to enjoy the Georgia Apple Festival which includes a parade, auto show, and plenty of arts and crafts. And don’t forget the corn mazes and pumpkin patches! They won’t be around long, and the hours and dates vary, so be sure to call ahead. And planning ahead to November, don’t miss the Sandy Springs Wine Festival.
